A national league for riichi mahjong using the templates of the professional leagues in Japan, the American Riichi Mahjong League aims to provide a central space to those who are competitive and wish to challenge themselves in a long-term setting, or for those who are learning and want to challenge themselves against the best the United States have to offer.
